Key responsibilities
- Proofread and copy edit U.S. news articles, briefs, and feature stories for accuracy and clarity
- Flag and correct factual errors, verifying names, dates, statistics, quotes, and links
- Edit headlines, subheads, and photo captions, and publish finished articles to the CMS
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of copyediting experience at news/media publications
- Expertise in US/Israel political issues and Jewish topics
- Proficiency in WordPress and related content-management tools
- Strong fact-checking experience and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Must reside and be eligible to legally work in the US
