Job Summary

Seeking a creative and detail-oriented Editor, the full-time remote position will collaborate with College Admissions Consultants and Senior Editors to develop and refine student essays for college applications, ensuring clarity and adherence to admissions standards during the busy college admissions season.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with consultants to brainstorm and shape essay direction and strategy
• Edit student drafts for grammar, clarity, structure, and style, providing detailed feedback
• Manage assignment-related administrative tasks and communicate effectively with team members

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Journalism, Education, or a related field
• 2-5 years of professional writing or editing experience in a deadline-driven environment
• Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills with strong narrative development
• Portfolio with a minimum of three writing samples, including one creative piece
• Ability to work full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Pacific Time
