Job Summary

Copyediting promotional and medical communications materials, the entry-level remote Editor will ensure consistency and accuracy while reporting to an Editorial Manager based in San Francisco and working PST hours.

Key responsibilities

• Copyedit materials to conform to grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines, including AMA standards
• Fact check information against source material and validate reference lists for accuracy
• Proofread and evaluate layouts for spacing, type size, and overall presentation issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications or health sciences
• 1-2 years of editorial experience preferred, with a focus on healthcare marketing or medical communications a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to learn and apply style guides, with familiarity in AMA style preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment
