Job Summary
Copyediting and fact-checking promotional and medical communications, the entry-level remote Editor will ensure consistency and accuracy in various materials while working PST hours and reporting to an Editorial Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Copyedit materials for grammar, punctuation, and adherence to style guidelines
- Fact check information against source material and validate reference lists
- Proofread documents and evaluate layouts for formatting issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications or health sciences preferred
- 1-2 years of editorial experience is preferred
- Experience in healthcare marketing or medical communications is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with American Medical Association style is a plus
