Job Summary

A company is looking for an Editor-in-Chief for The Sun Star.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the content, direction, and quality of The Sun Star
• Guide editorial vision and ensure published material meets standards of accuracy and integrity
• Manage the editorial team, coordinate production timelines, and support research and fact-checking processes

Required Qualifications

• Part-time enrollment of at least 6 credits and a GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Prior experience in journalism, editing, or a student-run publication is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience is a plus
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with digital publishing tools are necessary
• Solid understanding of journalistic standards, including AP-style
