Job Summary

Editor-in-Chief, Education, is a full-time remote position responsible for driving the strategic development of educational journals, overseeing the peer review process, and establishing a global network of researchers and practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality submissions and strategically develop journals within the Education portfolio
• Oversee editorial evaluation, peer review, and decision-making for submitted manuscripts
• Represent the Education portfolio at conferences and outreach activities

Required Qualifications

• PhD degree in educational research with a strong research background
• Experience in manuscript handling, including peer review and decision-making
• Demonstrated commissioning experience and ability to identify priority topics
• Strong global networks within research communities
• Understanding of scientific publishing and advocacy for innovations in publishing
