Job Summary
Committed to creating culturally informed curriculum materials, the full-time salaried Editor in Humanities will research and write content for K-12 students and teacher support materials while collaborating with managers to ensure project specifications are met.
Key responsibilities
- Contributes ideas during project planning and executes assignments to meet quality standards
- Researches and writes content aligned with state objectives and testing blueprints
- Maintains positive communication with supervisors regarding feedback and project status
Required qualifications
- Graduate or undergraduate degree in history, economics, English, education, or related fields
- Work experience or internships in education, publishing, or journalism
- K-5 experience in publishing or education preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Familiarity with editing, grammar, and style guides such as the Chicago Manual of Style is preferred
