Editor Position

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Editor for a full-time remote position, who will manage editorial coverage by assigning stories, editing content, and collaborating with reporters and the social media team to deliver unique and engaging narratives for OutKick.com.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the editorial team to develop and refine story angles that align with OutKick's brand
• Monitor the news cycle to ensure comprehensive coverage of relevant topics for the audience
• Copy-edit and fact-check articles prior to publication, while also writing and reporting as needed

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in news, TV, or digital media
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in content management systems and strong knowledge of SEO and social media
• Demonstrated interest in sports, pop culture, and current events
• Experience with digital analytics and newsletters is a plus
