Editor Position

Job Summary

Supporting the editorial quality and integrity of a growing Catholic periodical, the full-time remote Editor will manage proofreading, developmental editing, and administrative tasks to ensure content accuracy and adherence to house style and theological standards.

Key responsibilities

• Proofread and edit content at various production stages for accuracy and adherence to house style
• Perform developmental editing to enhance flow, quality, and tone of materials
• Conduct reviews for style, tone, brand consistency, and theological accuracy as assigned

Required qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines
• Excellent written communication and critical reading skills
• Ability to travel occasionally to the Ascension office in Exton, PA
• Effective coordination with teammates to meet delivery timelines
