Editorial Associate - Social Studies

Job Summary

To support educational content development, the temporary Editorial Associate - Social Studies will work remotely from June 2026 to September 2026, focusing on writing, editing, and modifying lessons to align with teacher and student needs.

Key responsibilities

• Creates new content to meet customer needs as assigned
• Conducts research for content and assets to deliver comprehensive lessons
• Ensures all content aligns with social studies and history standards while adhering to project requirements and style guides

Required qualifications

• At least three years of editorial experience in social studies, history, or a related content area
• Experience aligning content to state standards
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Zoom, and Project Management tools
• Available to work 35-40 hours per week during standard business hours
