Editorial Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Editorial Director to provide strategic leadership for editorial quality and research integrity across its journal portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to editorial strategy and advise on journal positioning and community engagement
• Provide direct editorial oversight for select journals and lead the Research Integrity program
• Analyze editorial performance data to guide improvements and support editorial processes

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline required; PhD preferred
• 10+ years of experience in scholarly publishing or editorial leadership
• Experience working closely with Editors-in-Chief and editorial boards
• Demonstrated experience improving editorial workflows and peer review performance
• Experience managing research integrity or publication ethics issues preferred
