Job Summary

Seeking a creative and business-savvy Editorial Director, the full-time position will oversee Digital Editorial Operations for A+E Global Media brands, managing a team to produce engaging content while working in a flexible hybrid or remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee strategic direction of editorial websites and content across A+E Global Media brands
• Manage story planning, development, and editorial calendars while top editing content for publication
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure content aligns with programming and engages consumers effectively

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive journalism experience with a proven track record of managing editorial teams
• Experience managing budgets and complex editorial projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Mastery of best practices for digital publication editorial processes
• BA/BS degree in a related field required
• Proficiency with CMS and familiarity with metrics tools such as Adobe or Parse.ly
