Job Summary

Experienced editorial leaders will find a full-time remote opportunity as an Editorial Director, responsible for owning the editorial strategy and output across manufacturing, electronics, and automation verticals, while directly leading a team of editors and enhancing content quality and audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and elevate editorial standards and strategy for GlobalSpec's key channels, overseeing content creation and management
• Develop distinct editorial franchises and manage an industry advisory board to drive audience engagement and brand loyalty
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content optimization and maintain editorial integrity in custom content initiatives

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive editorial experience in B2B media or trade publishing
• At least 5 years in an editorial leadership role, managing multiple brands or large content teams
• Deep knowledge of the industrial manufacturing, electronics, or automation sectors
• Proven experience in building audience through editorial quality and custom content operations
• Strong data literacy to inform editorial decisions using audience metrics and content performance data
