Education and Quality Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Education and Quality Manager to drive education and training initiatives and manage the Quality Management function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality Audit team and monitor productivity and staff utilization metrics
• Oversee education for coders and auditors based on internal audit findings to enhance quality
• Develop and implement annual education plans, including compliance training and coding updates

Required Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in health information management or an associate degree in health information technology with extensive management experience
• Expert level coding skills, particularly in Inpatient Coding
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in Learning Management System development and maintenance
• Previous experience in an education and/or quality role related to coding
