Education Outreach Program Developer

Job Summary

Providing technical and administrative services for the development and management of educational materials, the full-time Education Outreach Program Developer will support NOAA's Ocean Exploration and Research initiatives through content management, product development, and outreach strategies, with opportunities for remote work and travel.

Key responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining a content management system while identifying gaps in current educational materials
• Planning and executing the development of education products in collaboration with external partners to meet classroom needs
• Coordinating the promotion and communication strategies for sharing NOAA Ocean Exploration updates and educational opportunities with a national audience

Required qualifications

• Experience in educational product development and outreach strategies
• Proficiency in graphic design and brand identity development
• Familiarity with content management systems and educational standards
• Ability to coordinate translations and evaluations with external experts
• Understanding of NOAA's Ocean Exploration initiatives and education strategic plans
