Job Summary

A company is looking for an Education Statistics Research Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Review draft NCES products for statistical soundness and consistency with NCES Statistical Standards and Guidelines
Conduct disclosure risk reviews and manage the update of the NCES Handbook of Survey Methods
Be available during core working hours from 9 am to 5 pm EST

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in social science or related substantive areas
Basic understanding of applied statistics, including hypothesis testing
Previous experience reviewing and providing written feedback on documents is a plus
Familiarity with NCES Statistical Standards and the IES Style Guide is a plus
