Education Technology Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting faculty and students in a remote environment, the full-time Education Technology Specialist will coordinate and administer classroom processes in Canvas while leveraging educational technologies to enhance online instruction for adult learners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise in the Canvas LMS and other educational technologies to support online instruction
• Develop processes and systems that leverage technology to support online students
• Collaborate with faculty and program directors on Canvas classroom administration and educational technologies

Required qualifications

• Master's degree
• Experience creating and maintaining courses within the Canvas Learning Management System
• Knowledge of instructional design theories and practices
• Experience with implementing new technology/software at an institutional level
• Previous experience in higher education instructional design preferred
