Educational Consultant
Job Summary
To support the delivery of virtual professional development and resource creation for middle and high school students with visual impairments, the full-time remote Educational Consultant will develop online training modules, create interactive lessons, and maintain a mentorship program while collaborating with faculty and staff.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop online training modules and interactive lessons for professionals and families
- Create virtual resources to support students with visual impairments and their families
- Facilitate a mentorship program connecting students with visual impairments to role models
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in special education, rehabilitation, or a related field
- Professional or personal experience in the field of blindness/visual impairment
- Prior experience delivering training or professional development is preferred
- Interest in working with and supporting rural communities
- Strong computer skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
