Educational Content Developer

Job Summary

To support the creation of K-12 curriculum resources and educator professional development materials, the part-time Educational Content Developer will leverage various pedagogical approaches while working remotely, contributing approximately 10 hours per week during project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Developing K-12 teacher-focused and museum educator professional development content
• Writing and refining instructional materials, including lesson plans and microlearning courses
• Serving as a subject matter expert and providing peer review for other content developers' designs

Required qualifications

• Experience (typically 3 years or more) delivering standards-aligned content at the K-12 level
• Experience creating professional development content for educator audiences
• Significant experience providing instruction in relevant disciplines such as history or English language arts
• Some knowledge of online course development
• Deep knowledge of state standards in area of expertise
