EHR Project Manager

Job Summary

To support the implementation and optimization of operational processes, the remote contract EHR Project Manager will manage projects from concept to completion, focusing on EHR delivery and collaboration with stakeholders in a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall management of assigned projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards
• Establish and maintain processes to manage project scope, assess risks, and monitor resource allocation
• Collaborate with business, clinical, technical teams, and third-party vendors to drive project efficiency

Required qualifications

• Clinical experience with knowledge of acute EMRs such as Athena or Cerner
• Experience with care coordination or HIE-enabling platforms and agile product management teams
• Proven ability to connect project intent with the work of clinical and operational end users
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in population health environments
• Strong understanding of value-based care models, Medicare, and Medicaid
