Job Summary
To ensure compliance with EHS standards and project requirements, the full-time EHS Engineer will identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and act as a strategic partner to project managers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project-specific risks before and during execution, developing monitoring plans for critical activities
- Ensure all project activities comply with legal requirements and corporate EHS standards as per client contracts
- Evaluate EHS resource needs based on project timelines and complexity, and assess impacts from changes in project scope or methodology
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Engineering or related fields
- Prior experience in the role
- Extensive knowledge of safety regulations applicable to large installations or long-term maintenance
- Advanced Spanish language skills
- Intermediate English language skills
