ELA Curriculum Design Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ELA Curriculum Design Expert (Collaboration).

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and select engaging, age-appropriate books for teaching reading and writing skills
• Develop a syllabus aligned with Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and integrate assessment frameworks
• Map core skills to selected literary works and structure content for in-class and independent reading

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in curriculum design or textbook/material development
• Master's degree or higher in Education, English Education, or a related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of K-5 ELA classroom teaching experience, preferably in 2nd and 3rd grade
• Deep familiarity with CCSS for ELA and state-level testing requirements
• Ability to translate standards and assessment data into instructional plans
