ELA Curriculum Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Subject Matter Expert for English Language Arts (ELA) for Grades 6-12.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of a comprehensive ELA program for standard and honors-level students in Grades 6-12
• Recommend, author, and edit course units, lessons, and assessments
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a cohesive and engaging student experience

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in U.S. based education
• 6-12 ELA teaching experience with honors-level exposure
• Specialization in curriculum writing for Middle (6-8) and/or High (9-12) school grades
• 8-10 years of experience in ELA curriculum design and development
• Experience in designing developmentally appropriate literacy instruction
