Job Summary

Working remotely, the ELA Curriculum Writer will produce high-quality academic content, revise existing units, and support cross-team initiatives, contributing to curriculum development for grades 3-12.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and write rigorous ELA curriculum content that aligns with educational standards
• Manage multiple projects while incorporating feedback to enhance content quality
• Collaborate with various teams to meet development deadlines and support cross-functional projects

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of teaching experience
• Bachelor's degree in English, history, or related humanities field
• Lived or work experience in communities of color
• In-depth knowledge of college- and career-readiness standards in English language arts
• Demonstrated understanding of best practices in English language arts instruction
