Elastic Engineer

Job Summary

To support ECS's Army PEO C3N program, the full-time Elastic Engineer will work remotely to design, build, secure, maintain, optimize, and document multiple Elastic Stack Enterprise solutions while collaborating with a multi-disciplined team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Elastic Stack solutions, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats, in a Federal DoD environment
• Perform continuous data normalization support functions and deliver technical documentation such as SOPs and process workflows
• Utilize Ansible playbooks for automation and support the infrastructure and reporting automation for internal and external requirements

Required qualifications

• Minimum Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Compliance with DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification prior to start date
• Certified Elastic Engineer or willingness to gain certification within 90 days of hire
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack for security and logging use-cases
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Ansible Playbook
