Elastic Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting public safety and justice initiatives, the contract Elastic Engineer will work remotely to enhance information security for a key enterprise-level account within a City government entity in Austin, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage Elastic Stack solutions to improve data security and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support public sector projects and objectives
• Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure reliability and efficiency

Required qualifications

• Proven experience with Elastic Stack technologies, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
• Strong background in information security practices and public sector initiatives
• Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure management
• Relevant certifications in Elastic technologies or information security preferred
• Experience working in remote team environments
