Elastic Search Engineer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the remote Elastic Search Engineer will lead and mentor junior developers, manage Elasticsearch clusters, and optimize the Elastic Stack in a high-availability environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of junior developers while fostering continuous learning and development
• Administer and manage a self-managed Elasticsearch cluster on VMs, transitioning to Kubernetes (ECK) using helm charts
• Utilize Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash scripting for automation and operational efficiency while ensuring the performance and reliability of Java applications

Required qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in a relevant field
• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
• Proven experience in leading a technical team within a federal data center environment
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and Linux system administration in a high-availability environment
