Electric Distribution Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Electric Distribution Team, the full-time Electric Distribution Engineer II will design and modernize electric distribution systems, perform cost analyses, and assist in technical report creation, with opportunities for remote work and local field assignments in Pennsylvania.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development of preliminary design concepts and conduct comparative cost analyses for electric distribution systems
• Assist in creating computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers
• Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessing and planning electrical distribution networks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required
• Minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience required
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and engineering software (PLS-CADD, Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) required
• Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
