Electric Distribution Project Engineer

Job Summary

Leading impactful electric utility projects, the full-time Electric Distribution Project Engineer will oversee overhead and underground distribution projects from planning through construction in a remote environment, collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver system improvements and grid modernization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees project planning and execution, ensuring compliance with design specifications
• Leads small to medium projects and coordinates activities of Design Engineers
• Communicates project challenges and provides feedback on vendor drawings and design improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with electric utilities
• Experience with utility design software such as ArcFM, ArcMap, Infor, PoleForeman, and AutoCAD
