Electrical Applications Engineer

Job Summary

Providing engineering support to sales and design teams, the full-time Applications Design Engineer will focus on three-phase power, automation, and communication within low and medium voltage switchgear while collaborating with various teams to develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-order engineering support to the Sales and Quotations group
• Collaborate with design engineering and production teams to create custom solutions for unique applications
• Review customer orders for accuracy and completeness before transitioning to Design Engineering

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design, applications, or field service roles focused on power products
• Experience with AutoCAD and switchgear design
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings and single line diagrams (SLD)
• Strong understanding of three-phase electric power systems and familiarity with UL and IEEE standards
