Electrical BIM Modeler
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Electrical BIM Modeler will create and maintain 3D models using BIM software, collaborate with contractors and engineers, and ensure project requirements are met while producing jobsite electrical installation drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain accurate 3D models using BIM tools such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Collaborate with construction planning teams to identify and resolve design conflicts
- Produce wire routing layouts and BOMs for efficient electrical installations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Modeling/Design or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in electrical modeling or design
- Proficiency in Autodesk collaboration tools and BIM software
- Knowledge of construction codes and standards, including NFPA 70
- Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision
