Electrical CAD Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Electrical CAD Technician / Designer to support the development of construction drawings from Revit-based models.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update 2D electrical drawings from Revit-generated views for construction documentation and coordination
• Add annotations, dimensions, notes, and organize drawing sheets to support drawing completeness and readability
• Review drawing sets for clarity, consistency, and coordination with other engineering disciplines

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in CAD drafting or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in electrical drafting/design support for AEC projects preferred
• Working knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD in a building design environment
• Experience producing electrical construction documents or coordinated drawing sets
• Understanding of common electrical drawing content, such as lighting and power symbols
