Electrical CAD Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Electrical CAD/BIM Technician to support their Power Delivery Team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain electrical design sets by interpreting engineering red lines and markups in CAD drawings
• Produce accurate electrical construction drawings and develop 3D models for electrical systems using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or Revit
• Coordinate with engineering staff to resolve design conflicts and assist in quality control through self-checks and peer reviews

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in high voltage electrical CAD design
• BA/BS or AA/AS with 4 years of relevant experience is preferred
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code and other relevant codes
• Experience in 3D modeling environments, such as Civil 3D or Revit
• Understanding of vendor documentation related to assigned tasks
