Electrical Controls Estimator

Job Summary

To support the technical validation and solution definition during the pre-sales phase, the full-time remote Controls Design Estimator will focus on mechanical design validation, preliminary electrical and controls concept development, and accurate estimation of electrical equipment and labor while collaborating with Sales and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate mechanical designs for controls and electrical feasibility
• Develop preliminary electrical system concepts and estimate electrical equipment and labor
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposed solutions align with standards and delivery models

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, applications engineering, or technical estimation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD-Electrical (ACAD-E) for creating and interpreting electrical drawings
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL508A, and Allen Bradley electrical products
• Strong understanding of industrial networking and experience with conveyor and MHE control systems
