Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Grid Modernization team, the full-time remote Electrical Design Engineer will develop and execute Medium Voltage Distribution projects, facilitating collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and serving as the primary client contact.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient project execution
• Develop capital construction plans that support grid modernization initiatives and produce high-quality deliverables
• Perform distribution-level planning studies to evaluate system performance and identify improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience with EIT certification or 4 years without certification
• Experience with Distribution Modeling Software (e.g., Cyme, Synergi, Windmil) is required
• Previous experience working for a vertically integrated Utility is preferred
• Authorization to work permanently in the US
