Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support a leader in modernizing the sustainable energy grid, the contract Electrical Design Engineer will design and develop robust electrical systems, create detailed schematics using CAD software, and collaborate cross-functionally, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust electrical systems and components for various applications
• Create detailed schematics, connection diagrams, and routing diagrams using mechanical software tool suites
• Conduct rigorous tests and simulations to validate designs and troubleshoot issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S. in EE)
• Experience with AutoCAD and industrial design
• Demonstrated experience in electrical system design
• Knowledge of industry safety standards, quality protocols, and electrical codes
