Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support a leader in modernizing the sustainable energy grid, the contract Electrical Design Engineer will work remotely to design and develop robust electrical systems, create detailed schematics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust electrical systems and components for various applications
• Create detailed schematics, connection diagrams, and routing diagrams using mechanical software tool suites
• Conduct rigorous tests and simulations to validate designs and troubleshoot issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S. in EE)
• Experience with CAD software, particularly AutoCAD
• Industrial design experience
• Proven ability to ensure compliance with industry safety standards and electrical codes
• Experience level: Experienced
