Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support the modernization of the sustainable energy grid, the remote contract Electrical Design Engineer will design and develop robust electrical systems and components while collaborating cross-functionally to define project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for various applications
• Create detailed schematics, connection diagrams, and routing diagrams using mechanical software tool suites
• Conduct tests and simulations to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S. in EE)
• Experience with CAD software, particularly AutoCAD
• Industrial design experience
• Proven track record in electrical system design
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and electrical codes
