Job Summary

Supporting the delivery of electrical engineering design services for renewable energy and substation projects, the full-time Electrical Design Engineer I will perform routine design tasks under supervision, creating electrical plans and drawings while ensuring compliance with safety standards in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create electrical engineering plans, details, and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects
• Provide design drawings, including one-line and three-line diagrams, electrical layouts, and schematics
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and collaborate closely with senior staff on assigned tasks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field with extensive electrical coursework
• Some prior experience in designing and drafting using AutoCAD
• Familiarity with the NEC and understanding of codes and standards
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems
• Detail-oriented with efficient time management skills
