Electrical Design Engineer (PE Preferred)

Job Summary

To support large-scale infrastructure projects, the fully remote Electrical Design Engineer (PE Preferred) will guide the planning, coordination, and execution of advanced electrical systems, ensuring designs are technically robust and code-compliant while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a key liaison to troubleshoot and resolve electrical design challenges among internal departments and external consultants
• Lead the development and review of electrical documents, including one-line diagrams and load calculations, ensuring timely delivery of design packages
• Research emerging trends and technologies to optimize electrical systems in data centers, enhancing efficiency and reliability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering with an emphasis on electrical building systems
• Revit BIM design experience required
• Proficiency in power distribution and lighting design, including controls implementation
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the A/E industry preferred
• Preferred qualification includes a Professional Engineering (PE) license
