Electrical Design Principal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Principal, Global Engineering Development (Electrical).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee global electrical engineering direction and multidisciplinary design management for datacenter projects
• Lead the design process, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with global standards
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and execution

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a Design MEP Firm or as an Architectural lead in a Mission Critical Design Practice
• Advanced Degree (Masters) in Electrical Engineering preferred; Bachelor's Degree or extensive experience acceptable
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations in AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions is highly desirable
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent is desirable but not essential
• Experience with electrical equipment development, particularly LV switchgear, UPS, and STS products
