Electrical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Electrical Designer to join their engineering team in Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer engineers and internal teams to develop electrical control system schematics and panel designs
• Manage job setup and work order processing through an ERP platform while ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Provide technical support to panel fabricators and update drawings based on feedback to ensure accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or comparable certification
• At least 3 years of experience designing electrical schematics for industrial systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of NEC standards and UL508A certification
• Valid driver's license
