Electrical Designer

Job Summary

Electrical Designer, a full-time remote position responsible for generating 2D drawings with AutoCAD for pipeline and facility projects, developing CAD designs, and coordinating with Drafters to prepare project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Insert field notes, survey data, design information, and engineering schematics into drawings
• Set up sheets, title blocks, notes, and details as part of a drawing package
• Design electrical systems and instrumentation in compliance with NEC requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of advanced CAD electrical design experience within the gas transmission industry
• Experience with Revit, visual lighting, Excel, and Bluebeam is a plus
• Associate degree or completion of related technical school courses or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to self-manage workload and supervise a small design team
• Strong organizational skills to complete projects within budget
