Electrical Designer Drafter

Job Summary

A company is looking for Electrical Designers/Drafters for a 12-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems
• Create layouts, sketches, and 2D/3D models using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
• Coordinate with engineers and design leads to deliver complex project packages and mentor less experienced designers

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least 4-10 years of relevant design experience utilizing 3-D modeling/drafting
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• At least 2 years of Revit design experience
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical design requirements is preferred
