Job Summary
Contributing to aircraft modernization and system integration projects, the remote long-term contract Electrical Designer - Oregon Licensed will design wire harnesses, electrical schematics, and system layouts using Capital Logic while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop wire harnesses, electrical schematics, and system architecture using Capital Logic
- Create and update wiring diagrams, connector tables, and cable assemblies for aircraft systems
- Generate and manage engineering documentation packages for FAA certification
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of electrical design experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or heavy equipment sectors
- Proficient in Capital Logic for schematic capture and harness design
- Experience designing and documenting wire harnesses, interconnects, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with industry standards such as FAA, MIL-STD, or DO-160
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications
