Electrical Designer - Texas Licensed
Job Summary
To support the design and development of modular buildings and data center infrastructure, the full-time salaried Electrical Designer - Texas Licensed will perform electrical, instrumentation, and controls design work while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication teams, with the opportunity to work remotely from various states.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls Design for Capital Projects
- Create detailed fabrication drawings and client issue drawings using Revit
- Prepare single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and design MCCs, switchboards, and fire alarm systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent science degree
- 5+ years of related experience in Design Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering roles
- 5+ years of Electrical, Instrumentation, or Controls installation experience
- Advanced knowledge of technical standards and guidelines (API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to create solutions to complex issues
