Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Electrical Engineer to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical evaluation of vendor proposed system designs and assess design maturity of deliverables
• Conduct assessments of electrical/control system designs and write technical papers on design risks
• Perform drawing reviews, shipboard material inspections, and develop ship alteration packages

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or other engineering disciplines
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Minimum of six years' experience in the shipbuilding industry in electrical and/or controls discipline
• Experience with system design calculations, feasibility studies, and drawing modifications
• Familiarity with ABS, USCG, and other regulatory standards for shipboard electrical systems
