Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance product quality and operational efficiency, the full-time Electrical Engineer will ensure adherence to safety standards, analyze defective products, and collaborate with field service teams while visiting customer sites in Richmond, VA.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and implement corrective actions with field service teams
• Analyze defective products and prepare detailed 8D/Analysis reports, communicating findings to customers
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing product quality and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering or a related field with 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or quality control
• Hands-on experience with transformers, PDUs, STSs, and UPS products
• Ability to read and interpret schematics of electrical equipment and PCBAs
• Skilled in using electrical and electronics test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable
