Job Summary

Managing the generator interconnection process, the Senior Manager, Interconnection Services will oversee project development and construction while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a hybrid or remote capacity for a 12-month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the generator interconnection application process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timelines
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including ISO/RTOs and utility companies, to facilitate seamless interconnections
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to inform strategic planning and decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Demonstrated experience with ISOs (preferably MISO and/or SPP) related to generator interconnection agreements
• Strong power systems background with an understanding of transmission planning and NERC reliability standards
• Experience using analytical tools such as PSS/E, PSLF, and PowerGEM TARA
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders
