Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Offering a full-time remote opportunity, the Electrical Design Engineer will design and upgrade electrical power distribution systems, oversee equipment selection, and manage projects while occasionally traveling to South Florida client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical power distribution systems, including switchgear and transformers
• Coordinate the design of conduit, duct bank, and cable tray systems, as well as lighting systems
• Provide engineering services during construction, including submittal reviews and responding to RFIs

Required qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of related work experience in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in electrical power distribution and motor control systems design
• Proficiency in developing contract drawings using 2D and 3D design approaches
• Professional license or in progress towards achieving one
